Highland dancers at the 2006 Skagit Valley Highland Games. In this photo, not only are the sword implements seen to good effect, but so also are the footwear, called dancing ghillies. In Highland dancing, in contrast to, say, ballroom dancing, the dancers dance on the balls of the feet, as shown here.
